I've been working with Apple platforms since 2003, when I earned my first Apple certification. Over the past two decades, I've designed and managed IT infrastructure for schools, creative studios, professional firms, and growing businesses across New Zealand.
My career has spanned everything from macOS deployment automation and Linux system administration to enterprise Wi-Fi design and Zero Trust security architecture. I've built identity platforms that federate thousands of users, network access control systems that enforce device compliance, and backup solutions that actually get tested.
What I've learned: most IT providers treat Apple as an afterthought. They're Windows-first, with Mac support bolted on. Linux is invisible or outsourced. Security is a checklist, not a design principle. And documentation is optional.
magnumit was founded to do this differently. I'm based in Christchurch and serve organisations throughout New Zealand. When I'm not architecting IT systems, I'm staying current with certifications, contributing to open-source projects, and helping teams transition from ad-hoc setups to structured, scalable infrastructure.
